Hands up if you think this is a ridiculous idea.
There’s word that Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim told a delegation from Tanzania that they could help themselves to Manila Zoo’s wealth of crocodiles if the country could provide the zoo with elephants and zebras. The zoo is also considering asking Thailand and India to donate elephants as well.
Bad, bad idea, dude. Manila Zoo is old and uncared-for, and you won’t be providing the new animals a good home and will instead cause them misery. Plus, it’s just plain cruel to the animals.
