Facebook has this curious application called Greenbook, which is meant to help Facebook users reduce their C02 emissions if they add it to their profiles. Greenbook generates funds from advertisements and sponsorships and purchases renewable energy certificates from 3Degrees. It’s a pretty interesting tool, and the best part is it allows everyone to easily take part in reducing carbon emissions.
