The HumanCar Imagine™ LMV will be unveiled on Earth Day this year, and even though that’s a few months away, the HumanCar is already receiving a lot of attention because it definitely brings to mind the vehicles in The Flintstones (They’re not just eco-friendly, but also provide a great workout. You can bet that the cartoon cavemen have totally bitchin’ legs.), but primarily because of how it works. It’s a hybrid electric vehicle, but what’s really creating buzz is the way you drive this car: the so-called “body steering,” which involves rowing back and forth with the paddles, generating electricity for the engine. Sounds like fun, eh? But the price will probably send people fleeing back to their bikes: $15,000.
