Sunchips – a snack tries to be good

Did you know that of the many snacks in your grocery aisle, SunChips is one of the do-gooders for the environment?

True to its name, SunChips’ Modesto, California plant uses the sun’s energy to produce SunChips. They buy green energy credits. Better yet, SunChips has less salt and 30% less fat than the other potato chips out there. It even has whole grains and fiber thrown in for good measure. Not a bad thing to eat when the craving for a snack kicks in.
