Ibis Praha Old Town – environmentally-friendly hotel in Prague

We stayed at the Hotel Ibis Praha Old Town in Prague. As part of an air/hotel package, we had no clue that Ibis Hotels were environmentally-friendly. We discovered it on our own. The rooms were small, but adequate. It showcased an efficient use of space, coupled with minimalist design and layout. Very Ikea.

What they have:
wall-mounted shampoo & shower gel dispenser
drinking glasses near the bathroom sink
shelves and custom benches
curtain panels
wall-mounted lighting fixtures
two bath towels

What they don’t have:
little bottles of shampoo, conditioner & body lotion
plastic cups and ice bucket
cabinets, night stands and armoires
minibar
daily complimentary newspapers
vending machines per floor

What’s more, they also have pet-friendly rooms (not that we needed them for this trip).

Today, I decided to check out their website. A-ha! No wonder. The picture here was exactly how our room looked like.

Mind you, we came across a lot of business travelers. It’s not a bad place to stay. In fact, it’s probably one of the best places we’ve stayed at ever.
