Last year, the people of Sydney turned off their lights for one hour to make a statement regarding climate change. This year, more cities are taking part in Earth Hour, including Manila, Tel Aviv, Copenhagen, Chicago, Toronto! If Sydney was able to cut 10% off its regular energy consumption, think of how helpful it would be when cities around the world pitch in.
I’m excited to see Manila taking an interest in these events, and I’m really looking forward to Earth Hour this year.
