We have television sets at work and lately a lot of shows have been featuring tips for green living. Someone made a comment on how people are going overboard with this these days, even blaming former Vice President Al Gore for all the hype. This person said that global warming is just part of the earth’s natural cycle of cooling and warming. He also made a comment that in third world countries, there aren’t even emissions standards. Fighting words coming from a citizen of the world’s worst polluter. In the developing world, 2 billion people don’t even have electricity. They live under some of most polluted skies. These poor countries bear the brunt of problems caused by global warming:acid rain, respiratory problems, smog, typhoons, flooding, famine and drought.
