So my router went wonky earlier, which meant I had to find the installation CD and reconfigure the darn thing all over again. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the CD anywhere and thought things were starting to look bleak when I thought of searching for the setup wizard online. Thankfully, it was available on the LinkSys website. It made me wonder why installation CDs always have to be bundled with products, especially since the software can be downloaded online anyway. Of course, that assumes a lot, particularly that everyone has Internet access, but it would still be nice to eliminate installation CDs when the installers/software can be made available in a simpler format.
