Boston mayor Thomas Menino has recently announced the 2nd annual Boston Green Awards! The awards will recognize green individuals, businesses, and bike-friendly businesses.
Mayor Thomas M. Menino’s Second Annual Green Business Awards will be given to businesses located in the City of Boston that demonstrate extraordinary performance related to sustainable environmental, practices, such as water conservation, wastewater management, solid waste reduction, the promotion of alternative transit, energy conservation and on-site renewable energy production, or the purchase of renewable energy.
The Green Residential Awards will honor residents in Boston who are committed to sustainable living. Mayor Menino will recognize residents of the City of Boston who demonstrate exemplary sustainable practices in their community and in their homes.
Our Bike Friendly Business awards will recognize your company for taking steps to be more bike friendly. By adopting a few basic, inexpensive practices, your company will significantly improve the “climate” for cycling in Boston.
